Jeff, We are picking up our 260 Sundancer this morning. I was working with Kellie from Clark's, MarineMax and Prince William Marina. I choose you guys due to Kellie. She was professional, honest,cared about my concerns and her follow-up was really good. I run a global 300 person sales organization for a high tech company. I can tell the good sales people from the bad ones.

Kellie made the difference. We're looking forward to a lot of boating years working with her and Clark's Landing.

I could have provided this correspondence regarding Clark's Landing at any time in the two years since we purchased our SeaRay Sundeck from Clark's Landing and your service and employee professionalism has been that consistently terrific.  The assistance the team at Clark's Landing provided me during the pending arrival of hurricane Irene prompted me to document how much my wife and I truly appreciate your organization.

 

We returned from vacation late Thursday night with the storm expected to hit our area on Saturday night.   My only option to assure the complete safety of the boat was to get it off my lift and on to higher land.   With the severity of the storm, I felt it would be impossible to ask you, at the last minute, to add my boat to the many requests you must be getting for the same service.  A mid-morning call to Shelly in your office was greeted with a confident and comforting answer, "Get the boat to us and we will make sure we take care of it."   Two hours later my boat was in your yard and protected from the storm.    While we had a few issues with the storm, it was comforting not to have to worry about the boat.

 

The two years of excellent service and working with your professional staff began with the purchase of our boat.  It was an enjoyable experience, one in which we feel we ended up with the exact boat which met our needs and was purchased at a price which was fair for both us and Clark's Landing. 

 

Your technicians who have been to our home, Mike Behr, John Martin, and Donnie have been knowledgeable, polite, and enjoyable to work with.  Your office staff of Kim, Shelley, and others are equally as courteous and professional.  I know that many of your employees have worked for you for many years and even have stated to me that it is like a family at Clark's Landing.  It all starts with the attitude at the top of the organization, and you have developed one great team.

 

It has been truly a great experience in dealing with Clark's Landing.  We look forward to being a customer of yours for many years to come.

"I found that a gasket had blown out on the bottom of the starboard engine, and oil drained from the engine into the bilge.  Once I discovered the oil leak, I called the service department at Clarks Landing and they took care of the problem immediately.  A technician came to my slip at the marina early Thursday morning, and the problem was fixed and cleaned up by 2 p.m. on Thursday afternoon.  When I got back to the boat, you couldn't even tell that there had been an oil leak, the bilge was pristine.  I've been out on the water a few times since, and everything is working great!"

"I need to write a letter to Clarks Landing's management to outline the absolutely AMAZING customer service experience we had last weekend.  We had finally made plans to go to St. Michael's last weekend.  About 1 1/2 miles out of the South River we had a problem with the engine.  It was 2:45 on a Friday and after calling two service places, I tried Clarks Landing in Shady Side.  We got the boat to the dock and the tech found out a pump had failed.  Clarks found a pump in Pasadena around 4:30pm.  They drove us home to Annapolis (for free).  The next morning we got the pump from Pasadena, brought it back to Shady Side and by 12:30pm we were on our way to St. Michaels.  Clarks Landing saved our weekend!  I am a very particular person and have never had such an amazing customer service experience in my life.  Your team went above and beyond to save our weekend at the expense of their weekend.  Clarks Landing will be doing my service from now on!"
